Job Description:

The role of a Quality Assurance Professional revolves around ensuring the adherence to quality standards in manufacturing processes. This involves monitoring and evaluating various aspects of production, from raw materials sourcing to final product inspection.

Effective communication with cross-functional teams is crucial in this position, as collaboration is key to identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, enabling them to collect and analyze quality data, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality standards to ensure effective product inspection and judgment.
  • Monitor process control in EMS and drive continuous improvement of quality performance through data analysis and team collaboration.
  • Collect and analyze quality data, identify areas for improvement, and lead teams to develop and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct Failure Analysis (FA) on customer returns and submit 8D reports with actionable problem-solving recommendations.
  • Manage audits from customers, internal auditors, and hierarchical auditors, ensuring timely closure of identified issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

This role requires a unique blend of technical knowledge and soft skills. The ideal candidate will have:

  1. A Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, such as engineering, quality management, or a related discipline.
  2. At least 3 years of experience in quality management, preferably in manufacturing.
  3. Native English speaker, with Chinese proficiency being a significant advantage.
  4. Familiarity with EMS SMT/PCBA processes and quality operations.
  5. Strong knowledge of the IATF 16949 quality management system.
  6. Proficiency in quality tools and structured problem-solving methodologies.
