Senior Frontend Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Frontend Engineer to join our team and play a key role in building high-traffic e-commerce experiences for a leading healthcare client. You will be responsible for architecting, coding, and optimizing modern React/Next.js applications that meet the highest standards of performance, accessibility, security, and resilience.

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and develop large-scale, production-ready web applications. Your expertise will be essential in implementing Server-Side Rendering (SSR), Static Site Generation (SSG), API routes/middleware, and reusable component libraries. Additionally, you will integrate RESTful and GraphQL services, model clean contracts with backend teams, and own state management using popular libraries like React Query, Redux, or Zustand.

Responsibilities include:

  • Architecting and developing large-scale, production React/Next.js web apps for e-commerce.
  • Implementing SSR/SSG, API routes/middleware, and reusable component libraries.
  • Integrating RESTful and GraphQL services; modeling clean contracts with backend teams.
  • Own state management (React Query, Redux, Zustand) and performance tuning.
  • Driving CI/CD, testing, and release quality; championing accessibility and security best practices.
  • Collaborating across Product, Design, and DevOps; leading code reviews and mentoring engineers.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in web development.
  • 5+ years of experience with React.js and/or Next.js (Hooks: useState, useEffect, useContext, useRef, useMemo, useCallback).
  • 5+ years of JavaScript/TypeScript experience with deep knowledge of modern tooling.
  • 3+ years of experience in architecting large-scale, high-traffic e-commerce apps.
  • 2+ years of experience designing REST and/or implementing GraphQL.
  • 2+ years of experience on cloud platforms (preferably GCP).
  • 2+ years of experience in CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and Docker/Kubernetes.
  • Strong performance optimization, debugging, and observability skills.

  • Healthcare domain exposure (compliance, PII/PHI handling).
  • Testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress).
  • SEO, Web Vitals, micro-frontends, Vercel/Cloud Run experience.
