Finance Systems Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with a strong technical background to join our team as a Finance Systems Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with our Finance team, enhancing financial systems, implementing ERP solutions, and building Power BI dashboards to support real-time financial reporting and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with the Finance team to understand business requirements and translate them into system solutions.
  • Designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI dashboards for MIS, financial performance, and operational KPIs.
  • Leading or supporting ERP implementation projects and ensuring smooth integration with finance processes.
  • Managing finance system–related implementations and enhancements, ensuring compliance with internal controls.
  • Providing system support, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with vendors or IT for resolution.
  • Documenting workflows, processes, and technical specifications.
  • Training Finance team members on new tools, reports, and processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in finance systems, ERP implementation, and reporting solutions.
  • Strong expertise in Power BI (DAX, data modeling, visualization, report automation).
  • Proven track record in ERP implementation (SAP / Oracle / Microsoft Dynamics / similar).
  • Knowledge of finance system implementations and integration with accounting processes.
  • Good understanding of financial reporting, MIS, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work cross-functionally.

Preferred Experience includes prior experience in a law firm, professional services, or consulting environment, exposure to automation of finance workflows and process improvements, and experience working with SQL or other data sources for reporting.
