Key Responsibilities of Senior Credit Analyst
The primary duties of a Senior Credit Analyst include conducting comprehensive credit evaluations, developing complex cash flow models, and reviewing annual reports to ensure compliance with bank policies.
Main Accountabilities:
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis and review business models to determine the viability of large corporate customers.
- Develop and maintain intricate cash flow models to assess customer financials and make informed lending decisions.
- Review key documents, including annual reports, term sheets, and sanction letters, to guarantee adherence to bank regulations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to review and guide on credit analysis, decision-making, and risk management.
- Engage with external stakeholders, including regulators and industry experts, to stay updated on market dynamics and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present recommendation notes to senior management, providing expert insights on credit proposals and cases.
Requirements:
- MBA/CA from a reputable institution.
- At least 6 years of experience in credit evaluation in a banking setting.
- Strong technical skills in financial analysis, market knowledge, and industry segment understanding.
