Embedded Systems Engineer

Firmware development involves the creation of software components that manage and control various embedded systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing firmware solutions for diverse applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop firmware components using C++ and other programming languages to optimize performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate firmware with hardware and software components, ensuring seamless operation and minimal errors.
  • Design and implement unit tests using GTest to guarantee high-quality code and efficient debugging processes.
  • Work closely with the development team to identify and resolve issues related to firmware performance and reliability, applying expertise in problem-solving and analytical thinking.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve firmware design and implementation strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in embedded software development with C++ and a strong understanding of relevant frameworks and tools.
  • Hands-on experience with RTOS-based application development in C/C++ and proficiency in working with data acquisition modules, board bring-up, and debugging techniques.
  • Exposure to working on hardware peripherals and knowledge of industrial protocols like Ethernet, Modbus, and REST.
  • Good hands-on experience with MQTT, HTTP, BLE, Wi-Fi, and Webserver, as well as familiarity with version control systems like Git and project management tools like Jira and Confluence.
