Job Title: SAP MDG Implementation Specialist

At NR Consulting - India, we are seeking a skilled SAP MDG Implementation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our data governance team, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end master data governance solutions using SAP MDG. Your expertise in SAP MDG will enable you to manage and improve the quality, consistency, and security of our organization's data.

Key Responsibilities:

1. **MDG Implementation & Configuration**

* Design, configure, and implement SAP MDG modules (MDG for Customer, Supplier, Material, Finance, etc.)
* Analyze business requirements to ensure the solutions align with data governance needs
* Configure and customize MDG workflows, validations, data models, and user interfaces to meet project requirements

2. **Data Strategy & Governance**

* Develop and implement data governance policies, standards, and best practices for master data management (MDM)
* Design data validation rules, approval workflows, and data ownership models
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data governance aligns with broader data strategy and compliance requirements

3. **Data Quality & Migration**

* Plan and oversee data cleansing, data profiling, and data enrichment processes
* Guide and support data migration projects, including data mapping, extraction, transformation, and loading
* Implement data quality management tools and monitor master data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency

4. **Stakeholder Engagement & Training**

* Serve as a subject matter expert on SAP MDG, providing guidance and best practices to stakeholders
* Conduct workshops and training sessions to educate end-users on MDG functionalities and workflows
* Gather feedback from stakeholders to optimize MDG usage and improve master data processes

5. **Project Management & Mentoring**

* Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources, ensuring adherence to project goals
* Mentor and coach junior consultants on MDG best practices, technical skills, and solution design
* Collaborate with external and internal teams to address and resolve issues related to MDG

6. **Continuous Improvement**

* Identify opportunities for process improvement within data governance and master data management
* Stay updated with the latest developments in SAP MDG and data governance to bring new insights to the organization
* Implement feedback mechanisms and KPIs to measure the success of MDG initiatives

Required Skills & Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's preferred)
* 6-8 years in SAP MDG implementation, configuration, and management
* Strong knowledge of SAP MDG modules, including Customer, Supplier, Material, and Finance
* Experience with ABAP, BRF+, UI configuration, and Fiori apps
* Familiarity with data migration tools and methodologies
* Expertise in SQL, data modeling, and data validation techniques

Preferred Qualifications:

* SAP MDG Certification
* Experience with SAP S/4HANA, ECC, and integration with other ERP systems
* Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR) in data governance
