We are seeking professionals to join our team in tax analysis and compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare state and local regulatory filings by working with financial systems to analyze data while adhering to regulatory laws, business licenses, ordinances, regulations, and other related tasks.

  • Manage payments, liabilities, and expenses related to filings, work with AP, Treasury, and various in-house payment systems, ensuring adherence to SOX controls.

  • Assist with analysis related to mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence, reconciliations, budgets, metrics, cash forecasting, and monthly reports.

  • Conduct research as needed to comply with legislative changes and implement best practices, focusing on process improvements and streamlining existing procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, or four or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Three or more years of experience in state and local tax compliance, including knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access, and advanced computer skills.

  • Ability to prioritize deliverables with competing timelines, manage deadlines accurately, and possess solid oral, written, and analytical skills.

  • Proficient in large volume data analysis for tax return preparation and filing.
