Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Policy Strategist Leader to join our team in navigating the regulatory environment and ensuring alignment with business goals.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in public policy and regulatory affairs, with a strong focus on the Indian market. They will work closely with government bodies, regulatory departments, and other relevant stakeholders to achieve our objectives.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement policy strategies that align with business goals, ensuring proactive decision-making.
  • Represent our interests with regulatory bodies, industry associations, and other stakeholders at local, state, and national levels.
  • Monitor and analyse legislative and regulatory developments to identify emerging opportunities and challenges that may impact the business.
  • Provide strategic, data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership on key policy matters.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across regulatory, industry, and business networks.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in public policy and regulatory affairs, with a strong focus on the Indian market.
  • A strong network of stakeholders, including at senior levels, with demonstrated ability to effectively interact at the highest levels.
  • Extensive understanding of the policy climate in India, combined with sound business judgment and common sense.
  • Ability to anticipate emerging issues of importance to the company, communicating their impact on us to senior management.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with ability to build consensus and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
