About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic Commercial Real Estate Investment Analyst with a robust accounting and finance background to handle financial statements, modeling, and budgeting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create accurate, Excel-based pro forma models for financial analysis and decision-making support.
  • Underwrite new deals across various CRE assets, ensuring strong financial validation.
  • Analyze rent rolls, operating memoranda, T12s, and market comps to derive meaningful insights.
  • Monitor asset performance, compile detailed reports, and drive asset management strategies across various portfolio types.
  • Prepare investment memos, investor updates, and performance dashboards using strong written English to ensure clarity and transparency.
  • Support acquisition, development, and asset management initiatives to contribute to the company's long-term growth strategy.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in CRE underwriting/investment analysis (preferably in the Hospitality sector).
  • Strong accounting and finance foundation, including three financial statements, financial modeling, and budgeting.
  • Prior experience in hospitality real estate with a clear grasp of key metrics (P&L, REVPAR, ADR, occupancy).
  • Proven ability in monitoring asset performance and compiling reports that drive strategic decisions.
  • Exceptional written English skills for crafting nuanced, investor-focused updates and communications.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt strategies for evolving market conditions.
