Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Tech Support Expert to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for resolving technical issues for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshooting and Technical Assistance: Provide top-notch technical support to our clients via phone, email, or remote desktop sessions.
  • System Administration: Manage and maintain server environments, including configuration, backup, and recovery processes.
  • Network Infrastructure: Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, ensure firewall configurations are secure, and optimize network performance.
  • Hardware and Software Support: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Required Skills:
  • Server Administration: Proficiency in various server operating systems (Windows Server, Linux, Unix), configuration management, and setup/maintenance of server configurations.
  • Networking Fundamentals: Understanding of the TCP/IP protocol suite, networking fundamentals, firewalls, and security principles.
  • Hardware Knowledge: Familiarity with server hardware components and their functionalities, RAID setup/basic server hardware, and Integrated Lights-Out (ILO).
  • Scripting and Automation: Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation and task scripting.
  • Monitoring and Performance Tuning: Ability to monitor server performance, implement optimizations, and troubleshoot server-related issues.
  • Storage Management: Understanding of storage systems and technologies, including SAN and NAS.
  • Security Practices: Knowledge of access control and authentication mechanisms, implementation of security best practices for servers.
  • Backup and Recovery: Understanding of backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity.
  • Communication and Documentation: Clear documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures, effective communication to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills to diagnose and solve complex server-related issues.
  • Project Management: Basic project management skills for coordinating server-related projects.
  • Continuous Learning: Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry trends.
