Senior Java Engineering Lead

We are seeking an experienced and accomplished Java developer to lead our software development team in creating efficient and scalable solutions.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Core Java 1.8, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture, with expertise in designing and implementing robust Java applications.
  • They will be responsible for developing and maintaining microservices using Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and Web Services (SOAP and REST), as well as ensuring seamless integration between microservices using event-driven communication with Kafka.
  • Our successful candidate will also be responsible for implementing database management strategies for scalability and performance using Oracle or PostgresSQL, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align project goals and ensure data consistency and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Implement Robust Java Applications: Develop high-performance Java applications with a strong focus on code quality and maintainability.
  • Develop and Maintain Microservices: Utilize Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and Web Services (SOAP and REST) to create and manage microservices that meet business requirements.
  • Ensure Seamless Integration: Implement event-driven communication using Kafka to integrate microservices seamlessly.
  • Implement Database Management Strategies: Design and implement database management strategies for scalability and performance using Oracle or PostgresSQL.

Requirements:

  • 10+ Years of Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in the IT industry with expertise in Core Java 1.8, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
  • Strong Understanding of Database Concepts: Excellent understanding of database concepts, including Oracle or PostgresSQL.
  • Event-Driven Architecture Expertise: Proficient in developing Kafka producers and consumers for real-time data processing.
  • Excellent Collaboration Skills: Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with ability to work closely with front-end developers, QA engineers, and system administrators.
