Join Our Team

Noventiq is looking for a Senior Database Engineer to join our Global Delivery team. This role requires expertise in designing scalable database solutions, implementing and optimizing physical data models, and ensuring seamless data integration across the enterprise.

The successful candidate will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex database solutions, ensuring high levels of data availability. Additionally, they will develop and manage a data warehouse environment that supports our Business Intelligence needs, optimize database systems for performance efficiency, and ensure effective protection and integrity of data assets through disaster recovery and data archiving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain complex database solutions
  • Develop and manage a data warehouse environment
  • Optimize database systems for performance efficiency
  • Implement redundant systems, policies, and procedures for disaster recovery and data archiving
  • Perform database administration tasks, including maintenance, backup and recovery, performance tuning, and monitoring
  • Collaborate with development teams to advise on database structures, storage, and retrieval processes
  • Implement and maintain database security controls and documentation
  • Provide proactive and reactive data management support and training to users
  • Determine, enforce, and document database policies, procedures, and standards
  • Perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy, and integrity
  • Monitor database performance, implement changes, and apply new patches and versions when required
  • Liaise with developers to improve applications and establish best practices
  • Gather user requirements and identify new features
  • Develop technical and training manuals
