Fintech Expert – Software Quality Assurance Specialist

Experience Required: 3 to 5 years in a Software Test Engineer role. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Tester with strong banking domain knowledge.

Job Description

As a Software Tester, you will be responsible for identifying how your test teams align within an organization and achieving the roadmap identified for the program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify the scope of testing required for a particular release based on requirements.
  • Create a Test Plan after discussions with the test team and test manager for releases.
  • Initiate the Test case design activity, review of the same and ensure that the review comments are incorporated.
  • Analyze user stories and requirements for validity and feasibility.
  • Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression).
  • Responsible for Triage, RCA for customer reported defects.
  • Monitor the test progress by constantly assessing the work assigned to each of the resources and re-balance or re-allocate them as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Any graduation with at least 3+ years of experience as a software tester in a reputed IT organization.
  • Currently working/has worked as a software tester in an established IT organization for at least 2 years.
  • Adequate knowledge of banking domain.
  • Willingness and ability to learn Digital Banking.
  • Working/application level knowledge of various phases and nuances of STLC.
  • Ability to adhere to laid out quality processes.
  • Worked on waterfall model and Agile is an added plus.* (Scrum)
  • Must be able to work with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience in automation tools (Selenium/Cucumber) is an advantageous.
