Operational Excellence Lead

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with field personnel to ensure smooth plant operations.
  • Measure and record process parameters alongside the Shift In-Charge.
  • Monitor product quality and maintain it within defined limits.
  • Collaborate with the laboratory to ensure quality feedback and follow non-conformity procedures when necessary.
  • Execute safety procedures and take necessary precautions to prevent accidents.
  • Take readings of plant parameters, energy, and gas, and perform basic chemical water analysis.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to data reporting and operating procedures.
  • Regularly inspect the plant and report malfunctions to the Shift Supervisor.
  • Assure proper handovers during shift changes and transfer necessary information.
  • Suggest improvements to plant and operating procedures.
  • Supervise the loading and unloading of chemicals from trucks.
  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of control rooms and other operational areas.
  • Ensure availability of operational consumables and report deviations when necessary.
  • Drive growth initiatives and ensure sustained growth aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Initiate and sensitize employees towards digitization and automation of processes.
  • Utilize advanced analytics tools to derive key insights critical for organizational success.
Environmental and Health Safety Considerations
  • Ensure operational activities meet or exceed regulatory standards for public, employee, and environmental safety.
  • Implement work permit systems and suggest improvements to the Safety Head.
  • Report hazards on plant systems, workplaces, environments, and general public areas.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and report problems promptly.
Self/Team Development
  • Review and monitor team member performance, providing developmental support as needed.
  • Complete IDP Execution for self and team members as part of personal and subordinate development.
  • Recommend training for team development.
  • Develop and update team knowledge to cater to organizational needs.
  • Strategize ways to enhance employee satisfaction and engagement levels.

Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree from any recognized university.
