Game Designer Role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating engaging game features that align with the game's creative direction. This includes designing gameplay rules, progression systems, combat systems, player attributes, and artificial intelligence behaviors.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams is crucial in integrating assigned features, developing prototypes, and evaluating the design. Adaptability to technical and production constraints is also essential, as designs may need to be reworked accordingly.

The successful candidate will participate in finding solutions to fix buggy features, create and maintain comprehensive design documentation, and follow up on features post-launch to improve them.

Requirements
  • College diploma in Game Design or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of experience in video game production
  • Experience with game engines (e.g. Unity or Unreal)
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Critical thinking, curiosity, resourcefulness, and flexibility
  • Solid understanding of the market and passion for video games
