About the Role:
Our organization seeks an experienced system designer and developer with a strong background in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to fill this key role. As a member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing scalable systems for real-world warehouse and logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement WMS solutions using Java programming language.
- Integrate WMS applications with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and other third-party tools and services.
- Enhance system performance by identifying bottlenecks and suggesting improvements.
- Ensure data accuracy and system consistency in real-time warehouse operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and deliver on project goals.
- Write clean, well-structured, and maintainable code while following industry best practices.
- Provide production support and resolve incidents related to WMS modules and integrations.
Mandatory Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong Core Java development experience (4+ years).
- Solid hands-on expertise with WMS platforms such as Manhattan, Blue Yonder (JDA), Infor, or similar.
- Deep understanding of inventory control, warehouse processes, picking/packing, and logistics workflows.
- Experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs and working with SQL databases.
- Exposure to integration tools for data exchange between systems (like middleware or messaging tools).
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodology.
Nice to Have:
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure.
- Knowledge of Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).
- Experience in DevOps tools and practices (Docker, Jenkins, monitoring tools).
