Production Optimization Specialist

This position plays a pivotal role in streamlining production processes and enhancing cost efficiency, quality control, and data-driven decision making.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and manage production schedules to minimize costs while meeting quality specs.
  • Inventory Management: Track inventory levels and production rates; ensure alignment with shipment schedules.
  • Cost Optimization: Evaluate sourcing options and logistics to minimize costs.
  • Business Intelligence: Build and maintain business models using data analysis tools and predictive modeling for informed decision making.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with commercial, technical services, and operations teams globally.
  • Data Analysis: Handle data transactions and generate reports on production, inventory, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in production planning/blending, preferably in carbon/metallurgical industries.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools for data analysis and optimization.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and adaptability in a global team environment.
