Global Cyber Security Specialist with Focus on SOC Operations

The Role:

As a SOC Senior Security Analyst at Temenos, you'll be part of a fast-paced Global SOC team, responsible for monitoring and responding to cyber security incidents affecting our on-premises and cloud infrastructure. You'll work closely with the SOC Manager and Cyber Security Engineers to coordinate and report on security-related issues.

This role requires strong technical analytical skills, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. You'll be expected to provide accurate analysis of security-related problems, identify trends and threats, and implement effective countermeasures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 24/7 security monitoring and analysis of log data from multiple systems using a SIEM platform.
  • Participate in security incident response efforts, identifying common security exploits, vulnerabilities, and countermeasures.
  • Collaborate with Security System engineers and Threat Intel engineers to improve the accuracy and efficiency of the Security monitoring and response process.
  • Investigate, document, and report on information security issues and emerging trends affecting our platforms.
  • Promote a risk-based, business-focused approach to cyber security in all activities.
  • Deliver regular KPIs and KRIs on security monitoring activities.
  • Stay up-to-date on security industry events, threats, and impacts on new technology.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Security Incident Response.
  • Security Operation Center (SOC) experience.
  • Good knowledge of networking topologies and technologies, including firewalling, routing, and switching.
  • Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux, UNIX).
  • Solid understanding of current cyber-attack tactics, techniques, and mitigation solutions.
  • Experience with one or more SIEM tools, such as Splunk, Wazuh, Sentinel.
  • Familiarity with handling Security Centre alerts in cloud environments (Azure or AWS).
  • Ability to communicate security issues to peers and management.
  • Customer-oriented with a strong interest in client satisfaction.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Industry certifications & qualifications from recognized training providers – ISC2, ISACA, SANS, EC-Council.
