Job Summary

The Automotive Electronics Leadership Position is responsible for the technical delivery of automotive electronics hardware for global vehicle OEMs.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead electrical hardware design tasks independently, including design and development of automotive products with microcontrollers, SOC's, high-speed memory, LVDS, FPD Link-III circuitry, and high-speed design for automotive applications.
  • Review customer specifications, perform worst-case analysis and simulations to ensure compliance, and create and maintain schematic and assembly drawings.
  • Develop and maintain electrical DFMEA, generate electrical information for PCB layout, support ECAD designers, and participate in product design reviews.
  • Support hardware prototype build, create product verification plans, perform testing, and present product designs, analysis, and testing to customers.
  • Familiarity with lab equipment, such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, function generators, and multi-meters.

Requirements:

  • Highly skilled in electrical hardware design, with expertise in microcontrollers, SOC's, high-speed memory, LVDS, FPD Link-III circuitry, and high-speed design for automotive applications.
  • Strong understanding of worst-case analysis and simulations, electrical DFMEA, and PCB layout generation.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and lead teams.
