Job Description

Our organization is seeking an experienced Senior Printed Circuit Board Designer to contribute to the development of cutting-edge Drone solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Schematic and Layout design, Validation, board bring up, and debugging.

  • Multilayer PCB layout designs up to 6-12 layers in mixed signal design are required.
  • Experience with High-speed Mixed signals, HDI Boards is essential.
  • Handling BGAs with Blind and buried via techniques is necessary.
  • Familiarity with latest interfaces such as USB, Ethernet, CAN etc. is required.
  • Knowledge in differential routing, Length matching routing, Impedance routing, etc. is mandatory.
  • Understanding of constraints and use of the constraint manager is crucial.
  • Minimizing EMI/EMC problems is a key responsibility.
  • Experienced in DFM & DFA Analysis & Gerber & ODB ++ Checking is necessary.
  • Knowledge of IPC standard is required.
  • Experience in Schematic Designing is essential.
  • Experience in Schematic symbols and PCB footprint approvals is necessary.
  • Experience in schematic design entry in Allegro tool is required.
  • Experience in schematic and PCB layout reviews for internal and customers is necessary.
  • Experience in development of PCB vendors and coordination for PCB manufacturing related issues is essential.
  • Experience in board bring ups, debugging and testing is required.
  • Experience in UART, I2C, LCD, SPI, QSPI, CSI2, CAN communication etc. is preferred.
  • Approval of BOM and its releases is a key responsibility.
  • Experience in component selection for schematic designs is essential.
  • Mentoring junior engineers and participating in design/code reviews is necessary.

A proven track record of 10+ successful production level PCBs in market is expected.

Strong debugging and problem-solving skills are required.

Interaction with third-party vendors and review of work is necessary.

Good knowledge on industrial PCB design tools and flow is expected.

Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD workflows is preferred.

A minimum of 10 years of experience in Electronics and Communication is required.

B.Tech/M.Tech in Electronics and Communication is desired.
