Job Overview
- ENNOVI has immense potential for growth, particularly in the Automotive/EV market. Ensuring quality will be crucial to achieving success and driving this growth. A Senior Quality Leader is needed to develop and implement all Quality strategies within the company, from project initiation to delivery, guaranteeing the right products reach our customers.
- This position will also be responsible for making this plant a benchmark within ENNOVI mobility plants. To build a quality mindset at ENNOVI, collaborate with Corporate quality leadership to coach sites to improve quality performance, reduce costs, and pursue Zero Defects.
- Work with OEM readiness teams to support global OEM readiness implementations.
Main Responsibilities
- To help develop and set Quality goals for the Region and the sites, providing direction to sites to meet these goals.
- To review Quality training needs in the region and develop action plans to address these needs.
- To provide technical leadership, especially in Automotive & EV connectors, Busbars, Sensor housings, to improve product quality and other quality-related services.
- To help resolve quality-related problems at site level.
- To assist with selecting and recruiting key positions in the Quality organization in the sites.
- To coach and guide site QA Managers.
- To develop plans to strengthen QA resources in the region.
- Understand customer-specific requirements and disseminate to team members.
- To conduct regular quality audits on systems, operations, and products to ensure conformance to IATF Standards, internal specifications, and customer-specific requirements.
- Familiarity with IMS (IATF, ISO 14000, ISO 45001) and Quality Core Tools (PFMEA, SPC, MSA, PPAP, APQP).
- To stay informed about our customer Quality needs and develop plans to address these issues.
- To support Corporate initiatives, such as OEM readiness implementation, Layered Process Audit, Kaizen event, A3 problem-solving, RFMEA, etc.
- To share best practices across sites and build synergy.
- To prepare departmental budgets and support cost reduction projects year-over-year.
- To take on special assignments and projects as assigned from time to time by the Global Quality VP.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering.
- Other Technical/Professional Qualifications:
- Lean & or Six Sigma Black Belt.
- CQE, CQM, and Lead Assessor qualifications are preferred.
- Proficiency in computer and statistical software is essential.
- Ability to communicate in English or major local language is crucial.
- At least 20+ years of automotive experience in Quality Assurance in related industries.
- Must have worked in a leadership role for more than 5 years.
- Must be able to communicate with all management levels and possess good facilitating skills.
- Must be willing to travel 40% of the time.
Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and location.
