Senior Frontend Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Engineer to design, build and maintain high-performance web applications using modern React/Next.js technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement large-scale, production-ready React/Next.js web applications for e-commerce platforms.
  • Implement Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and Server-Side Generation (SSG), API routes and middleware, as well as reusable component libraries.
  • Integrate RESTful and GraphQL services with backend teams and model clean contracts.
  • Own state management using React Query, Redux, or Zustand and performance tuning.
  • Drive Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), testing and release quality while championing accessibility and security best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Design and DevOps, lead code reviews and mentor engineers.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in web development.
  • 5+ years of experience with React.js and/or Next.js, including Hooks such as useState, useEffect, useContext, useRef, useMemo and useCallback.
  • 5+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, with deep knowledge of modern tooling.
  • 3+ years of experience in architecting large-scale, high-traffic e-commerce applications.
  • 2+ years of experience designing RESTful APIs and/or implementing GraphQL.
  • 2+ years of experience working in the cloud, preferably with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • 2+ years of experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI and GitHub Actions, as well as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong skills in performance optimization, debugging and observability.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with healthcare domain, including compliance and handling of PII/PHI data.
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library and Cypress.
  • Experience with SEO, Web Vitals, micro-frontends and Vercel/Cloud Run.
