Art Director Job Description

The Art Director plays a pivotal role in bringing creative ideas to life through innovative designs. This senior-level position requires exceptional leadership skills, vision, and creativity.

  • Creative Output on Briefs Received
  • Meet with Client Service Team/Client & Understand Briefs
  • Develop Design Briefs by Gathering Information & Data through Research
  • Visualize, Brainstorm, Ideate & Transform Ideas into Effective Designs/Artwork/Templates
  • Provide Direction, Inputs, Suggestions to the Team on Briefs
  • Attend Reccees if Required to Get a Fair Idea of the Event Venue
  • Keen Eye on Design Aesthetics - Use a Good Sense of Aesthetics & Judge & Visualize the Right Style of Design
  • Create Identity Designs, Environmental Graphics, Illustrations or Commercial Art/Scenic Designs, Stage or Exhibition Designs & Spatial Designs
  • Create Print Files & Art Files that Can Be Sent to Printers for Printing/Create Production Files with Specifications of All Materials & Ensure Feasibility
  • Be Ahead of the Curve to Provide Directions to the Team & Advice the Client
  • Incorporate the Latest Trends in Graphic Design
  • Stay Updated on Software and Tools of the Trade

Responsibilities Include:

Attending client meetings, researching clients and brands, and delivering effective creative designs are some key responsibilities of this role. The successful candidate will also be responsible for staying updated on software and tools of the trade.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Graduation in Design, Commercial Art, Applied Art; Master's Degree/Diploma in Design (Preferred)
  • Minimum 8+ Years of 3D Design Experience in the Events/Activations Industry
  • Basic Knowledge on Brands, Fabrication Knowledge, Understanding of the Printing Process
  • Well-Versed in Designing Software-3D Max, Maya
  • Presentation Skills, Good Communication Skills
  • Efficiency in Delivering Designs as Per Timelines
