About the Role:

As the Sr. Analyst - Supply Chain Strategy at Wesco International, Inc., you will be responsible for developing and managing supply chain analytics to inform and empower internal stakeholders. Your expertise in supply chain operations, business analytics, process improvement, and risk management will drive the inventory strategy to align with business objectives. You will collaborate with business leaders and cross-functional teams to provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the Inventory Strategy to align with business objectives, ensuring key analytics are available to support data-driven transformation.
  • Collaborate with business leaders, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Tackle complex supply chain challenges using expertise in supply chain operations, business analytics, process improvement, and risk management.
  • Empower Inventory SBU leaders and stakeholders with insights for more efficient, risk-averse operations.
  • Question and improve traditional methods with innovative techniques and technology, enhancing supply chain processes and working capital utilization.
  • Analyse market trends to guide inventory management in demand and supply planning and supply chain strategy adjustments.
  • Assist in developing strategic policies and procedures to enhance operational outcomes.
  • Manage reporting functions, including KPIs, lean kaizen initiatives, and special requests.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and uphold ethical standards within the supply chain function.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, supply chain, or a related field; an MBA from a premier institute is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in supply chain transformation, with a focus on initiatives like inventory optimization, forecasting, planning, cost reduction, and network modeling.
  • Familiarity with the industry landscape, including key suppliers, customers, and competitors.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with decision-makers both internally and externally.
  • Exceptional negotiation and analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on coaching and conflict resolution.
  • Availability for travel with limited notice.
