Senior Software Development Engineer

This is a high-level software development position that requires expertise in designing and developing innovative technologies, particularly in the domain of system software.

About the Role:
  • We are seeking an experienced software development engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge technologies.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in object-oriented programming, C/C++, and experience with modern concurrent programming and threading APIs.
  • The successful candidate will be able to design, develop, and test complex software systems, as well as collaborate with peers and partners to achieve project goals.
Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop new groundbreaking technologies in the domain of system software.
  2. Work with AMD architecture specialists to improve future products.
  3. Apply data-driven approaches to target optimization efforts.
  4. Stay informed of software and hardware trends and innovations, especially pertaining to algorithms and architecture.
  5. Participate in new ASIC and hardware bring-ups.
  6. Debug existing issues and research alternative, more efficient ways to accomplish the same work.
Requirements:
  • 10 years of experience in software development in domains of networking, RDMA, or system software.
  • Strong object-oriented programming background, C/C++ preferred.
  • Ability to write high-quality code with a keen attention to detail.
  • Experience with modern concurrent programming and threading APIs.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in performance tuning and debugging system level issues.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in different operating systems or server environments.
  • Experience with software development processes and tools such as debuggers, source code control systems (GitHub) and profilers.
  • Experience in DPU or AI-NIC development.
Academic Credentials:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
