Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to work independently within Data and Analytics, leveraging advanced proficiency in SQL for querying, data manipulation, and optimization. This role involves writing complex SQL queries, including subqueries and joins, as well as utilizing coding best practices and techniques to ensure efficient execution of code against large datasets.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data structures and be able to prepare data for ingestion efforts, analysis, and the creation of insights. They will also be proficient in various tools and technologies, including BigQuery, R, Python, MS Excel / Google Sheets, Tableau, and Looker.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Work independently within Data and Analytics with limited design help from manager or senior associates.
  2. Write complex SQL queries, including subqueries and joins.
  3. Leverage coding best practices and advanced techniques to ensure efficient execution of code against large datasets.
  4. Run, create, and optimize standard processes to ensure metrics, reports, and insights are delivered consistently to stakeholders with minimal manual intervention.
  5. Prepare data for ingestion efforts, analysis, and the creation of insights.
  6. Collaborate with others on producing descriptive and diagnostic analysis.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Advanced proficiency in SQL for querying, data manipulation, and optimization.
  • Strong understanding of data structures and their preparation for ingestion efforts, analysis, and the creation of insights.
  • Proficiency in various tools and technologies, including BigQuery, R, Python, MS Excel / Google Sheets, Tableau, and Looker.
  • Experience working as a team and collaborating with others on producing descriptive and diagnostic analysis.
  • Prior experience with Snowflake is preferred.
