Garment Designer

We are seeking an innovative and skilled Garment Designer to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for creating stylish and modern designs that reflect our brand's aesthetic.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design & Development
  • Create unique and stunning garments including dresses, tops, and fusion wear.
  • Develop seasonal collections aligned with our brand identity and global fashion trends.
  • Work on detailed illustrations, mood boards, and technical sketches using advanced software like Photoshop and Corel Draw.
  • Source and experiment with various fabrics, trims, and embellishments suitable for both western and fusion styles.
  • Sampling & Production
  • Translate design concepts into samples with the in-house team.
  • Ensure fittings, pattern corrections, and fabric usage align with quality and cost standards.
  • Collaborate with the merchandising and production teams for smooth execution.
  • Trend & Market Research
  • Stay updated with global and Indian trends in western and fusion fashion.
  • Analyze competitor collections and contribute ideas for differentiation.
  • Brand Aesthetics
  • Maintain our brand's identity by ensuring every design reflects elegance, comfort, and commercial appeal.
Key Skills & Tools:
  • Software: Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw (strong command required).
  • Fabric Knowledge: Cotton, Rayon, Muslin, Chanderi, Silk, Blends, and their drapes.
  • Design Expertise: Western silhouettes, dresses, coord sets, fusion wear.
  • Strong visualization, sketching, and digital illustration skills.
  • Knowledge of garment construction, patterns, and embroidery placement.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Fashion Design or related field.
  • 2–5 years of professional experience in women's western or fusion fashion.
  • Portfolio of previous work (required).
