Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Principal Consultant to join our QA team, specializing in testing activities for trading systems. This role will focus on ensuring quality, stability, and performance of trading platforms, with emphasis on the Endur tool used for energy and commodities trading.

The successful candidate will work closely with development teams, business stakeholders, and QA teams to drive and implement testing strategies, identify risks, and provide valuable insights into platform improvements while ensuring adherence to best practices in IT and QA processes.

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work with a global organisation offering comprehensive consulting services for trade lifecycle management to clients involved in energy, commodities, shipping, treasury, central banking, capital markets, and asset/investment management.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 5+ years of Endur experience.
  • Extensive experience in QA within trading or financial platforms, focusing on testing complex trading systems.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Endur or similar trading platforms.
  • Experience in functional, integration, regression, performance, and UAT testing within a complex trading environment.
  • Solid understanding of trading workflows, financial products, and market data in relation to trading platforms.
  • Experience working with test automation frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies, with the ability to work in fast-paced, iterative environments.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and product managers.
  • Proven experience in risk assessment and test planning for mission-critical applications.
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and provide guidance to junior team members.
  • Exposure to and understanding of the full trade lifecycle allied with strong knowledge of the system business processes.
