Job Title

2G Protocol Development Specialist

This position is ideal for a highly skilled developer who wants to contribute to the creation of cutting-edge 2G protocol features on Base Station Controller (BSC).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Implement Features: Develop and enhance 2G protocol features on BSC, ensuring seamless integration with cross-functional teams.
  • Debug and Analyze Defects: Identify, debug, and resolve internal and external defects/bugs, providing high-quality solutions.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams for integration, testing, and deployment, fostering effective communication.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure adherence to 2G protocol standards and specifications, maintaining the highest level of quality.
  • Conduct Unit Testing: Perform thorough unit testing, system validation, and troubleshooting during development and field deployment, guaranteeing successful outcomes.
  • Provide Support: Offer timely support for live issue handling and customer escalations, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Required Skills:
  • Programming Proficiency: Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming, with excellent coding skills.
  • Protocol Knowledge: Solid understanding of 2G protocols (BSS, BTS, BSC, MSC) or experience in RAN technologies, with the ability to apply knowledge effectively.
  • Hands-on Experience: Hands-on experience in protocol development, debugging, and troubleshooting, with a proven track record of success.
  • Environment Familiarity: Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments, with the ability to adapt to new systems.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills, with a logical approach to resolving complex issues.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
