Role Summary:

Seeking an experienced SAP Security professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP Security and role redesign.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, configure and maintain SAP security roles, profiles and authorizations across various systems.
  • Manage user provisioning, access requests and license assignments using SAP Identity Management (IDM).
  • Apply position-based access control models where appropriate.
  • Maintain Firefighter (FF) access via SAP GRC 12.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, segregation of duties (SoD) requirements and audit controls.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SAP authorization issues, IDM provisioning problems and system access challenges.
  • Support security aspects of system maintenance, upgrades, migrations and new project implementations.
  • Monitor SAP security logs, identify potential risks and take proactive action.
  • Collaborate with functional, technical and audit teams to deliver secure and compliant SAP solutions.
  • Prepare and maintain security documentation, reports and training materials.
  • Lead and manage large-scale SAP Security design and restructuring projects.
  • Provide high-level support for SAP security across various environments.

  • SAP Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC)
  • SAP Identity Management (IDM)
  • Soterion security management tool
  • SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of SAP security design principles and role architecture.
  • Expertise in SoD risk identification and remediation.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects in large-scale SAP environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 8+ years' experience in SAP Security, including role design, GRC and IDM.
  • Experience with security in ECC, S/4HANA, BW, Fiori and related SAP environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based SAP security.
