Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge software applications.

Estimated Salary: ₹1200000 - ₹2000000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality software applications using COBOL and other mainframe technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Maintain and improve existing software systems to ensure scalability, performance, and reliability.
  • Design and implement automated functional testing using tools like UFT, Postman, and Selenium.
  • Work closely with leadership to resolve architectural problems and improve overall system architecture.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of experience in application development with a strong background in COBOL and mainframe technologies.
  • Experience with iSeries, Unisys, and/or other mainframe technologies.
  • Excellent knowledge of source management tools, including GIT or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of Agile and/or DevOps principles.
  • Knowledgeable in industry standard software design patterns, development, data modelling, and SOLID principles.
  • Ability to work independently with little direction or as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to work on highly complex projects within tight timelines.
