Data Automation Professional

We're seeking a Data Automation Specialist with expertise in Python or Java programming and strong SQL skills to fill this key role.
Main Responsibilities:- Create custom data validation scripts based on provided regression test cases
- Analyze stored procedure logic and translate it into test automation
- Compare datasets across environments and generate diffs
- Collaborate with team members and follow structured automation practices
- Develop and maintain a central automation script repository
- Establish comprehensive QA strategies and test plans from scratch.
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently without close supervision.
They should be comfortable working with large datasets, understanding stored procedures, and writing data-driven automation logic. Experience with financial data or post-trade systems is an asset.
Requirements:- Strong programming experience in Python (preferred) or Java
- Hands-on experience with SQL, including writing and debugging complex queries
- Understanding of stored procedures and their use in automation
- Experience working with data structures, large tables, and datasets
- Comfort with data manipulation, validation, and building comparison scripts
- Prior exposure to financial data or post-trade systems (a bonus)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience of working with test management tools (e.g., X-Ray/JIRA).
