Senior Technical Leader, Android GPU Driver Quality

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Technical Leader to drive the definition and promotion of Android driver quality metrics. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software development, technical leadership, and people management.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead a team of engineers and build an organization designed for long-term, sustained impact. As a Senior Technical Leader, you will work with industry partners, game and high-performance application developers to identify driver regressions and transform them into certifications. You will also be responsible for nurturing and growing a team of engineers by developing their technical skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with industry partners to identify driver regressions and transform them into certifications.
  • Drive the definition and promotion of Android driver quality metrics.
  • Nurture and grow a team of engineers by developing their technical skills.
  • Build an organization designed for long-term, sustained impact.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
  • 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects, with 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.
  • Experience working with Android.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • Experience in game development.
  • Experience in GPU Driver creation, modification, testing or debugging.
  • Experience with OpenGL ES, OpenCL, or Vulkan.
