Job Summary

The role of IT Support Engineer plays a critical part in ensuring the continuity of our business operations by providing comprehensive support across all aspects of IT infrastructure, encompassing end-user support, networking, servers, and IT systems.

This position extends beyond desktop support, requiring proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and IT service management to maintain efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical assistance for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and enterprise applications, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
  • Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networks, to guarantee optimal performance.
  • Handle user requests and incidents efficiently via the IT helpdesk/ticketing system, escalating complex issues as needed.
  • Administer user accounts, email systems, and security groups within Active Directory/Office 365, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity and system access issues, collaborating with colleagues to resolve problems effectively.
  • Assist in IT projects, such as cloud migration, system upgrades, and security enhancements, ensuring timely completion and minimal disruption.
  • Collaborate with vendors and external providers for IT services and escalations, fostering strong relationships and open communication.
Mandatory Skills and Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of experience in IT support/infrastructure, with a proven track record of successful issue resolution.
  • Knowledge of Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, and cloud platforms, with hands-on experience in at least one area.
  • Strong understanding of networking principles, including LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, and other relevant technologies.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively.
