Senior Quality Assurance Automation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our organization. This role requires an individual with a strong understanding of automation frameworks, as well as experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the Karate Framework for both API and UI automation, as well as a solid understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and XML.
Additionally, they should be familiar with test management and defect tracking tools, such as Jira or TestRail, and have knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for this role, as is the ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using the Karate Framework for UI and API testing.
- Design reusable, modular, and scalable automation frameworks.
- Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and business analysts to understand requirements and create effective test coverage.
- Execute and analyze test results, identifying and reporting defects.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Provide detailed documentation of test plans, test cases, and execution reports.
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with Karate Framework for both API and UI automation.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and XML.
- Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies and software testing lifecycle.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
