Job Opportunity: Big Data Systems Tester

We are seeking a skilled and experienced tester to join our team in developing solutions for data-driven applications. As a Big Data Systems Tester, you will be responsible for testing and validating the performance of complex data systems.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and contribute to the development of innovative data solutions. You will be part of a collaborative team that values expertise, creativity, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test and validate the performance of Big Data systems, including Hadoop, SOLR, Kafka, and other data sources
  • Develop and execute test cases to ensure data integrity and accuracy
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies

Requirements:

  • Expertise in writing and executing User Acceptance tests in QA/Production labs
  • Experience in deployment of product suite/components spread across multiple machines/VMs
  • Good hands-on knowledge of Big Data components like Hadoop, SOLR, Kafka, and other data sources
  • Expertise in ETL concepts, flow, debugging
  • Good experience in end-to-end debugging
  • Good knowledge of Linux and Networking concepts
  • Basic understanding of Layer 2/3 protocols, end-to-end data flow in network
  • Good understanding of SDLC & STLC
