Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned backend developer to drive the success of our AI-first workspace.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to build scalable and high-performing systems that power real-time collaboration, persistent memory, and AI Experts/Skills.

  • About You:
  • We're looking for someone with 3+ years of experience in backend development, strong understanding of databases, APIs, and distributed systems.
  • You should have a builder mindset, be passionate about AI, SaaS, and how small teams work.
Key Responsibilities

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and scaling backend systems that support real-time collaboration, persistent memory, and AI Experts/Skills. This includes working closely with frontend, AI, and product teams to ship features at startup speed.

  1. Design and Develop APIs: Create scalable and high-performing APIs and services to support real-time collaboration and AI Experts/Skills.
  2. Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with frontend, AI, and product teams to ship features at startup speed.
  3. Optimize Systems: Optimize systems for scalability, performance, and security as we grow from dozens to thousands of users.

We use Node.js / TypeScript, PostgreSQL / Redis, GraphQL APIs, AWS / GCP, Docker / Kubernetes, and more. Experience with LLM integrations, vector DBs, or real-time systems is a big plus.

Requirements
  • Backend Development Experience: 3+ years of experience in backend development.
  • Databases and APIs: Strong understanding of databases, APIs, and distributed systems.
  • Builder Mindset: A builder mindset – you're excited to ship fast, learn from users, and iterate.
