The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of steel design codes (e.g., AISC, Eurocode, Indian Standards) and experience in diverse projects, from large-scale commercial to mixed-use and industrial infrastructure. Key responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring designs and drawings are accurate, tied in with architectural design, and adhere to design standards.
• Familiarity with applicable international and local design manuals, codes, and regulations.
• Producing technical reports.
• Maintaining records of communication with stakeholders.
• Attending and participating in meetings and contributing as expected.
• Communicating with other disciplines in a skilled and diligent manner.
• Demonstrating a strong ability to multi-tasking and prioritizing.

Team Management:

The successful candidate will also be responsible for:

• Providing assistance to Principal Engineers, Associate Directors, and Directors as required.
• Maintaining a high level of communication and teamwork with other Structural Engineers and technicians.
• Mentoring Junior Engineers, graduates, and technicians and assisting with the training of subordinate engineers.

Commercial/Financial:

Additionally, the successful candidate will be able to:

• Provide assistance to Project Management on projects as required.
• Control resource consumption.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• BEng/MEng in Civil/Structural Engineering
• Ideally Chartered Engineer - CEng, MIStructE/MICE
• A minimum of 8 years post-graduate experience
• Working knowledge of design standards and practices, and engineering codes relevant to structural designs and drawings
• Strong IT skills knowledge of BIM processes and implementation
• Experience of working in Autocad and/or Revit
• Experience with commercial, retail, medium-rise, or high-rise building projects
• Ability to prepare structural engineering reports
• Some experience of Common Data Environment platforms such as BIM360, Viewpoint, or Aconex
• Experience in parametric design tools for automation such as Dynamo/Grasshopper or Python is desirable
• Knowledge and practical experience of Calculation/Structural Software

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
