Job Title: Instrumentation Engineer

 

This role offers a challenging opportunity for a skilled instrumentation engineer to work on various projects, delivering high-quality solutions and meeting project goals.

 

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instrumentation design, with expertise in software tools such as SPI, Aveva Instrumentation, and Navisworks.
  • They will be responsible for performing conventional design engineering and analysis, preparing engineering design basis, and reviewing P&IDs.
  • Additionally, they will review and develop engineering documents, including instrument index, I/O list, datasheets, specifications, material requisitions, TBEs, C&E matrix, control narratives, cable schedules, interconnection diagrams, loop drawings, etc.
  • The successful candidate will ensure compliance with relevant international standards and regulations.

 

Leadership & Team Responsibilities:

 

  • The instrumentation engineer will provide technical guidance to project teams and disciplines, managing assigned budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
  • They will plan, delegate, monitor progress, and control team deliverables to meet project schedules.
  • The candidate will actively engage with clients to understand requirements, maintain strong relationships, and align project goals.

 

Requirements:

 

  • A degree in instrumentation or a related field is required, along with a minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • The ideal candidate will be proficient in software tools such as SPI, Aveva Instrumentation, Navisworks (added advantage).
  • Knowledge of valve sizing, flow elements, and use of sizing software such as InstruCalc is essential.
