Job Title: Structured Finance Specialist

This is a specialized role that involves working closely with clients to understand their investment needs in the structured finance space. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and interpreting legal agreements, understanding servicer or trustees' reporting, and providing risk monitoring services.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Onboarding: Review and interpret legal agreements, understand servicer or trustees' reporting.
  • Risk Monitoring: Work closely with clients in supporting them for risk and exposure monitoring of transactions.
  • Covenant Calculation: Calculate and monitor covenants, concentration limits, eligibility criteria, concentration tests, and Borrowing Base calculations.
  • Operational Management: Assist/lead daily operations of various workstreams, ensuring all deliverables are accurate and timely.
  • Collaboration: Liaise with Business Analyst and Implementation team to ensure data and logic on proprietary platforms are accurate.
  • Mentorship: Mentor and guide freshers of the team to improve overall learning curve.
  • Portfolio Surveillance: Provide enhanced surveillance to clients on their portfolios and share critical aspects concerning overall performance proactively.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Broad knowledge of Structured Finance products, corporate credit landscape, ABL, CLO, and Middle Market Portfolio Financing.
  • In-depth knowledge of core financial and accounting concepts.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling using MS Excel.
  • Understanding of various financial databases, including Bloomberg, Capital IQ, and Factiva.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills - written, verbal, and interpersonal.
  • Ability to work well under pressure to meet strict and aggressive deadlines.
  • Prior experience of at least 3-5 years with an Investment Bank, Investment Management firm, or Financial Advisory firm.
