We are seeking a skilled Python Test Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in Positive Train Control (PTC) and IETMS testing for locomotive onboard systems.

This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to safety-critical systems in the transportation sector, leveraging your expertise in automation and reliability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform system and integration testing of locomotive onboard systems, including PTC and IETMS.
  • Develop and maintain Python-based test automation frameworks, ensuring robust validation of rail control systems.
  • Analyze system requirements and create detailed test plans and test cases, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Execute manual and automated tests, log defects, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in rail systems, adhering to industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with hardware and software teams to validate end-to-end functionality, driving quality and excellence.
  • Participate in reviews, audits, and documentation of test results, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 6-9 years of experience in rail domain testing, specifically PTC (Positive Train Control) and IETMS.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Python test automation, with a focus on automation and reliability.
  • Experience with embedded systems and real-time testing environments, ensuring seamless integration.
  • Familiarity with rail safety standards and protocols, driving compliance and excellence.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex systems and identify areas for improvement.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • ONLY B.Tech graduates will be considered, with a strong emphasis on technical expertise.
