Cloud Data Processing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Data Processing Specialist to design, implement, and maintain large-scale data processing systems using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and other related technologies.

This is a key role for our team, and we require someone with strong analytical and problem-solving skills to work collaboratively with data scientists to design and implement data governance policies and ensure data quality.

The ideal candidate will have proficiency in SQL and Python programming languages, experience with Apache Spark, Delta Lake, and Databricks, and a good understanding of cloud-based data platforms such as Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse Analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines using Azure Data Factory to integrate data from various sources.
  • Work with the data engineering team to architect and implement scalable data warehousing solutions using Azure Synapse Analytics.
  • Develop and maintain complex data processing workflows using Apache Spark, Delta Lake, and Databricks.
  • Collaborate with data scientists to design and implement data governance policies and ensure data quality.
  • Maintain and optimize existing data pipelines and workflows to ensure high performance and reliability.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in SQL and Python programming languages.
  • Experience with Apache Spark, Delta Lake, and Databricks.
  • Understanding of cloud-based data platforms such as Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse Analytics.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
