Senior Network Engineer

The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing and troubleshooting F5 load balancers, Cloudflare WAF, Palo Alto & Azure firewalls.

In this role, you will be assisting network related tasks part of the migration project and will collaborate with cross-functional teams including network operations team, Application support team, automation team and project teams.

Strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure, maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot the Blue Yonder cloud network environment, focusing on F5-LTM and firewall expertise.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Infrastructure Operations, Architecture, and Security teams.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks, ensuring timely and effective completion.
  • Collaborate with customer and internal stakeholders to build VPN tunnel build and troubleshoot in case of any issues.
  • Perform routine monitoring and maintenance tasks, ensuring the stability and security of the network environment.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of overall experience in Information Technology, with 6+ years of relevant expertise in F5 LTM, Cloudflare WAF, ASA/PALO ALTO/AZURE firewalls.
  • Proven experience in managing complex network infrastructure, including F5 load balancers and Cloudflare WAF.
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Cloudflare WAF Management: Experience with WAF operations, including log review, rule fine-tuning, collaborating with stakeholders, and issue troubleshooting.
  • Firewall Skills: Configuration firewall policies and VPN tunnel Configuration and Troubleshooting.
