Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pastries Craftsman to join our team. As a key member of our production crew, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory pastries, cakes, and other baked goods.

The ideal candidate will have excellent culinary skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be required to follow recipes, measure ingredients accurately, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

In addition to your technical skills, you will also need to possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, as you will be working closely with other members of the production team.

• Prepare and bake a variety of pastry doughs, including croissants, danishes, and breads.
• Cut, shape, and decorate pastries, cakes, and other baked goods.
• Measure ingredients accurately and follow recipes to ensure consistency and quality.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Work effectively in a team environment, communicating clearly and respectfully with colleagues.

• Education: Diploma in Bakery (mandatory).
• Training: Industrial training required; on-the-job bakery training preferred.
• Experience: 0.5 to 1 year of practical bakery experience.
• Understanding of both Metric and Imperial measurement systems.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
• Comfortable working in hot, humid kitchen environments.
• Intermediate knowledge of bakery operations and mise en place techniques.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
