Senior Accounting Professional

We seek an experienced and skilled individual to lead our U.S. accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.

  • Review and process weekly timesheets & client invoices with precision and speed
  • Ensure accurate submission of payroll/accounting data in a timely manner
  • Prepare regular & ad-hoc reports using QuickBooks to inform key stakeholders
  • Manage and reconcile AP/AR accounts efficiently
  • Assist with General Ledger entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes
  • Support the preparation of financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP standards
  • Track/manage PO expirations & related documentation
  • Maintain master data for employees, customers, and vendors
  • Liaise with state agencies for payroll, unemployment, and tax matters

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of U.S. accounting/bookkeeping experience (staffing/consulting preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and its application
  • Experience in payroll, AP/AR, and expense management
  • Proficient in QuickBooks and other accounting software
  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, reconciliations)
  • Excellent communication & attention to detail
