Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team.

  • We require a professional with 5+ years of experience in test automation and quality assurance, specifically within the Banking domain.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Selenium with Java, API Testing, and BDD/Cucumber framework, as well as additional skills in database testing and file handling.

About the Role:

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring product quality by developing and maintaining automation strategies, executing test cases, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable, and high-performance applications.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Work independently to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts ensuring end-to-end test coverage.
  • Perform continuous testing across security, API, regression, and functional test suites.
  • Develop automation strategies and frameworks (BDD/Cucumber) to enhance efficiency and reliability.
  • Support test data management, environment setup, and test execution.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to identify, log, and resolve defects.
  • Participate in code reviews, monitor testing outcomes, and contribute to continuous improvement practices.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of strong hands-on experience in Selenium with Java.
  • Experience in API Testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or similar.
  • Strong experience in BDD/Cucumber framework implementation.
  • Proven experience in Banking domain projects.
  • Database testing and file handling expertise.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to automation tools such as Cypress, TestComplete, or Playwright.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA best practices.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent field.
