The successful candidate will have the opportunity of gaining experience providing façade access advice and design expertise on challenging single or multi-disciplinary projects, tapping into the wide resources pool across the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the wider design team to advise on the integration of façade access systems into the project.
  • Lead the design to achieve the optimal combination of cost, aesthetic impact and functionality, while following best health and safety practices.
  • Prepare façade access strategy reports at key stages of the design of the project.
  • Prepare Employer's Requirements Documentation and System Specifications for façade access and façade replacement systems at the end of the design stage.
  • Review contractor drawings and inspect site throughout the construction process to ensure compliance to the spec, the design intent and the relevant legislation.
  • Manage multiple façade access consulting projects simultaneously and work directly with clients.
  • Conduct research on industry trends and currently available technologies used in façade access.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Experience of having worked with façade access systems, either within a consultancy or from a contractor's role.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of façade access systems, their performance and operation, as well as the current engineering standards, practices, regulations and legislation.
  • Be an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with a relevant academic background.
  • Be competent in AutoCAD and/or Revit and 3D design software
