Job Title

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Web Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building performant, SEO-friendly web experiences in Next.js and integrating them with a modern headless CMS.

About the Role

The successful candidate will design, develop, and ship new features in Next.js and React, model and integrate dynamic content with a headless CMS (PayloadCMS preferred; Strapi, Sanity, or Contentful experience welcome). They will also develop and implement reusable UI components with a focus on performance, accessibility, and scalability.

The role involves working directly from Figma designs - extracting specs and ensuring pixel-perfect implementation. Collaboration with UI/UX designers is also required to translate wireframes and mockups into high-quality web pages.

Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Design, develop, and ship new features in Next.js and React.
  • Content Integration: Model and integrate dynamic content with a headless CMS (PayloadCMS preferred; Strapi, Sanity, or Contentful experience welcome).
  • UI Components: Develop and implement reusable UI components with a focus on performance, accessibility, and scalability.
  • Implementation: Work directly from Figma designs - extract specs and ensure pixel-perfect implementation.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and mockups into high-quality web pages.
  • Server-side Rendering: Set up and optimize server-side rendering, static site generation, and API routes in Next.js.
  • CMS Management: Manage CMS schemas and workflows, ensuring efficient data flow and content delivery.
  • Responsive Design: Implement responsive design for optimal performance across devices and browsers.
  • Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable code and perform code reviews.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Requirements
  • Professional Experience: 3-5 years of professional web development with React and Next.js.
  • Project Experience: Demonstrable projects integrating a headless CMS into production sites.
  • Technical Skills: Strong command of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and modern CSS (CSS Modules/Tailwind). Solid understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • API Experience: Experience in consuming and designing REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
  • Cloud Hosting: Comfort with Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud hosting (Vercel, Netlify, AWS).
  • Communication Skills: Clear written and verbal communication; ability to partner with non-technical stakeholders.
  • SEO Optimization: Knowledge of SEO optimization for server-side rendered websites.
  • Security: Experience in configuring Cloudflare and applying web-application security best practices.
Bonus Points
  • PayloadCMS Experience: Prior work with PayloadCMS, multi-locale content models, or i18n routing.
  • Edge Functions: Familiarity with edge functions, image optimisation pipelines, and Vercel KV/Postgres.
  • Web Security: Experience securing web apps (OWASP, OAuth, JWT) and setting up automated tests (Playwright, Jest).
  • Data Analytics: Exposure to analytics, A/B testing, and growth-led experimentation.
