Senior PHP Web Developer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced PHP web developer with a strong background in Zend and Laminas frameworks to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for upgrading existing projects to the latest PHP versions, ensuring system stability and performance post-migration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Migrate existing Zend Framework projects to Laminas and the latest PHP versions.
  • Perform thorough testing post-migration to ensure system stability and performance.
  • Collaborate with clients on remaining feature walkthroughs and development updates.
  • Leverage AI tools such as Cursor, Copilot, ChatGPT for planning, coding, and optimization.
  • Ensure clean, maintainable, and production-ready code.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of PHP development experience.
  • Proven hands-on experience with Zend and Laminas Frameworks.
  • Prior experience in migrating projects from Zend to Laminas.
  • Strong understanding of PHP 7/8 versions and upgrade best practices.
  • Practical experience with AI coding tools such as ChatGPT, Cursor, Github Copilot.
