Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop scalable backend services utilizing FastAPI and Django.
  2. Build and deploy microservices from scratch, prioritizing reliability and performance.
  3. Decide on the right storage solutions (SQL vs. NoSQL) depending on the use case.
  4. Optimize server performance, focusing on low latency and high throughput.
  5. Implement monitoring, logging, and debugging strategies with industry-standard tools.
  6. Work with asynchronous programming and understand Python's internals, including the GIL.
  7. Collaborate with frontend teams and contribute when needed.
  8. Ensure clean, maintainable, and test-driven code with proper documentation.

Requirements:

  1. 3+ years of professional backend development experience with FastAPI and Django.
  2. Proven experience building and scaling microservices architecture.
  3. Strong knowledge of asynchronous programming and Python internals.
  4. Deep understanding of database design, including relational vs. non-relational DBs.
  5. Hands-on experience in server optimization, performance tuning, and profiling.
  6. Familiarity with monitoring and debugging tools.
  7. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  8. Willingness to occasionally contribute to frontend development.
